Welcome to Biddeford & Saco Maine
The twin cities of Biddeford and Saco (pronounced saw-co), Maine were once thriving mill cities employing thousands of immigrants. Like many of the mill towns of New England, the mills slowly closed and only one remains in business. Many of the ethnic neighborhoods and traditions still play a large part of Biddeford/Saco's calendar of events. Saco has become a local playground. There are several amusement areas, restaurants, beaches and family activities in the area.
