Welcome to Yarmouth, Maine

Yarmouth: Only 11 miles from Maine’s largest city, Portland, makes Yarmouth an ideal residential community for Portland’s professional community.

Being mostly residential there are not a lot of tourist activities available.

One notable place visitors should check out is the Delorme Map Company. Not only is Delorme a store that sells thousands of different kinds of maps, atlases and globes, it is also the home of Eartha, the world’s largest rotating and revolving model of the Earth.

Another notable visitor attraction is the Yarmouth Clam Festival. A get together always starting on the third Friday in July. There are games, crafts, parades, entertainment and food, with of course clams being the featured menu item.
