Being only seven miles from Portland's City Center, Westbrook is definitely part of the Portland metro area. Westbrook is fortunate enough to have two rivers and two waterfalls. The Presumpscot River flows through the center of the city, and the smaller Stroudwater River flows through the southwestern part of the city.
