Welcome to Scarborough, Maine

Scarborough, is 6 miles south of Maine's largest city, Portland. It has a population of about 17,000, many of whom travel to work in the Portland-South Portland-Westbrook metro area.

Not being a large tourist area, many of the activities are attended by local people. However, its close proximity to Old Orchard Beach, Saco and Portland does make it a convenient base location.
