Situated on the Saco River, and Maine’s Gateway to The White Mountain National Forest, Fryeburg is the oldest community in Oxford County and the first town to be incorporated in the White Mountain area.

Today Fryeburg is still a multi-season destination. Summer activities include canoeing, swimming and hiking. Autumn brings the leaf peepers to enjoy the mountain foliage, and winter snows attract skiers heading for the slopes of the White Mountains.
